Since 1996 Daystar Ministries has been involved in bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ into local, state, and adult/youth correctional facilities.  What began as a call to lead a Bible study once a week in the Thomasville Regional Youth Detention Center has expanded into a full Praise and Worship service reaching 2 Youth Detention Centers and 4 State Prisons (including 2 closed security). God has been our Protector and Provider every step of the way as we have walked in the ministry He called us to.

Our goal and mission has always been to bring the burden removing, yoke destroying power of God into the prisons through anointed Praise and Worship and Preaching of God’s anointed Word.  It is only through His power and by Jesus’s shed blood that any change can be made in the lives of those we minister to. We thank and praise Him for allowing us to be vessels from which He chooses to work and  consider it an honor and privilege to have the opportunity to touch the lives of those He places in our path.

In March of 2002 we heard strongly from the Lord that our Ministry would be taking a new direction. The Prisons are still a hurting and “needful” ministry and we are not abandoning our call to that area.  We are praying and listening for our new assignment with expectant hearts.  The one very clear message that has come through is for us to get a Praise and Worship CD out to churches, Pastors and whoever else God puts on our hearts. So, we are currently in the process of “getting it all together”.  With God’s help and provision, we can hope to get the CD done by the middle to end of the summer. Please pray that everything will fall into place for this first step in our obedience to His direction for our Ministry.

It has always been the policy of DayStar Ministries to be open to whatever God wants us to do. He has always provided for the ministry financially through the gifts of His people. If you would like to partner with DayStar Ministries in bringing the Gospel to a hurting and imprisoned people, we would be delighted to pray for you and receive your donations of time, prayer or money. Please drop us an and let us know how you would like to get involved with us.  We are certain God will return your gift - in good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over.

Thanks for visiting us and check back again soon for updates and “New Directions” as DayStar Ministries continues to serve the one and only true God - Jesus! Hallelujah!
